Won't your exhaust just remove any benefit that might be had with this?so how many of you guys use a cow source. I seen these on eBay and was curious if they are worth it
have you tried a with and withoutI have 2 of these in a tent. But i dont have a co2 monitor so i cant tell you how high the ppm is.
not venting it. and my expectations for the bags are not very high.If you are venting the tent then any supplemental CO2 would be exhausted as fast as it's produced.
honestly this will be a first grow in my basement or attic. I'm just going to grow 1 plant to get my feet wet.not sure how much exhaust I'll needIf you are venting the tent then any supplemental CO2 would be exhausted as fast as it's produced.
Yes... waste of time and moneyWon't your exhaust just remove any benefit that might be had with this?
I think it all depends on what your natural levels are. And at $30 who cares. I talked to a guy that works at a hydro store, hes scared to hang a burner. He uses 6 XL bags instead. Claims to get upto 1200ppm, didnt ask how many lights or size room.Unless your lights are producing 1000+ μmols there's no need for CO₂ ... it doesn't hurt but it's also a waste of money unless you're into mushrooms.
I definitely would, if it was providing no benefits to my plants $30 would buy me another 3.8 cu/ft bail of medium to last me a couple of months, with $5 left over to cover my gas to get into town. And at $30 who cares.
co2 not providing benefits to plants is silly tho. since you already know it does. But i agree, if you are going to vent it all away. the bags will be pointless.I definitely would, if it was providing no benefits to my plants $30 would buy me another 3.8 cu/ft bail of medium to last me a couple of months, with $5 left over to cover my gas to get into town.
