How far to space autos?

About how far apart should you space autoflowers in budding?

Looking for either general or strain-specific recommendations.

Is 1 plant per square foot good? (ie: 16 plants in a 4x4)

Lights will be 600's or 1000's. The idea is to make an rdwc system out of 4" PVC, but that requires knowing the plant spacing

you going to top , lst ? reason i ask is they will get massive in that setup and probably get really large
mine topped and lst'd get around 28-32 inches or so wide but they stay less than 3' tall

i guess you could go 10" spacing then tie the branches down to another plant and let the colas mingle
i can squeeze 6 plants in 1 gal containers soiless in a 2.8'x3.8'
will hold 2-3 in 3 gal pots

Depends on a lot. Currently I have just 2 Pandora autos touching on three sides of a 4x4x7ft tent. they are in 7gal super roots air pots. I may run out of room.

you can make most of them get large honestly
conditions need to be spot on or dam close to it
there's people pulling 1/4 lbs easy from some of them in dwc
