How far should my clones be from a 600w hps?

I just got some clones. I've 2 600's running in a 4x8 tent. How far should they be from the light? 12, 15, 18 inches?

probably 18 to start at least and watch the temps if you can keep them low enough they can get closer...btw you don't need 2 600s just yet for 3 plants man good luck

pretty far man thats alot of light for those babies specially after all that stress, my suggestion for a tent that size which im going to be doing soon is throw a nice T5 or some flourescent blubs in there they also should be in a more higher humidty they love moisture, you'll see faster/better root growth doing this

but i would say as far away as you can at least till theres a decent amt of veg growth

I'd start @ 18. Let them chill until they start to grow and then hammer the light down as close as you can. Depending on strain, you want to avoid an early stretch.

I keep mine 20" all the time i see good results so(first grow grow ever, x3 dwc, 1x600whps) good look man peace out!

I've got my fans blowing pretty hard to. One is leaned over, but they all look like they have had some LST by the way the stems are shaped, probably gonna tie them down really soon. Should i stick a support stick in there for each of them? Also, humidity is at 41 and temps are at 75.

NO! STOP FUCKING WITH IT!!! let this baby get back on its feet you really need to take in consideration how much stress your putting on them

I'm not touching them. They have been chilling all day under the 600 at a solid 41 humidity and 73 - 75 temp. I am gonna spray the soil with some water though, seems a bit dry. Might wait till tomorrow though.

mists the leaves while your at it always keep your soil moist specially at this point of time increases root growth

umm depends how hot that HPS is on ur plant and how much fresh air the plant is getting
