how exactly do you dry and cure bud?

so i have been looking everywhere for info but i just cant seem to fully understand the whole harvesting process. i have got to say this subject is the least absolute out of all of the other steps of growing weed. so this is what i know please tell me if this is correct or if i'm doing something wrong and what to fix etc. so the last two weeks of flowering you would stop the nutes and flush it with water for every watering. aslo when you do this you feed it a tablespoon of molasses for every flushing. when half of the trichomes are cloudy and the other half is amber and there are mostly all orange hairs and the leaves are yellowing/ wilted upwards you harvest. you cut the plant off by the stem then cut the plant into like 5 sections. then you cut off all the fan leaves on each section and trash them. then you trim the buds (and make hash out of the trimmings) and you dry them. to dry them you hang them in a dark cool well ventilated space. space the buds apart evenly to not initiate molding. you dry them like this for a week or whenever the stem snaps when you bend it. then you cut off the buds of the stocks and start the curing process. you put the buds into mason jars and burp them for a week. (open the jar for 30 minutes everday) then you leave them in the jars for 3 weeks and then your weed is done. IS THIS THE CORRECT MOST COMPLETE WAY OF HARVESTING? i just want to do it right and i want to make sure i get the best out of all my buds so is this the correct way of harvesting? also i have a question regarding flavoring. no one has dismissed this on any of the threads i have read on any forum on the web so i thought i might give it a try and ask the experts.... so in the last two weeks when you are flushing and giving molasses to your plant would it work to give the plants a certain fruit extract if the pH is balanced? like say i gave a plant strawberry extract and the pH was at 6.5 for the whole molasses water extract solution... that would work right? i know people are just going to say no right off the bat but think about it theres no reason it couldnt work.... the pH is balanced so the roots can absorb the extract and the extract would go into the leaves and buds there fore flavoring the plant. and if you think it wouldnt work then how can you say nutes work? i mean everyone knows nutes work and they follow the same princible i am describing for my flavoring method. the roots absorb it and the nutrients are sent to the plants foliage which in turn causes the bud to taste like crap if you dont flush it. so when you do flush it it takes the nute taste out so if you flushed it with extract it would have to flavor the buds right? RIGHT? yessssssssss:bigjoint::leaf::-P;-)
