How easily does a closet grow get spider mites?

Well I am on my first grow and just want to be prepared for any problems before they escalate into something disastrous.

Do spider mites infect indoor closet grow? What can help deter them? What should I look for when searching spider mites or other pests?

before starting clean/disenfect the area. make sure you have good air circulation. it should be pretty obvious if pests are there (sun leaves looking chewed on, ect)

On top of making sure everything is clean before you start DONT BUY SHIT POTTING SOIL,ive found all kinds of shit in junk no name brand potting soil,you name it ive found it in cheap soil,make sure the soil you use has been steralized.

Try not to touch other plants and if you end up doing so, change your clothes before going into your grow area. If you're really worried, maybe you can put sticky traps on the floor of your grow closet., but those things are tiny and they'll probably find a way to get in regardless.
