How early is it safe to force sex with branch covering trick

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how early they thought it was safe to force sex?

I want to get the males out asap as I dont have room for many plants at all, so I'm gonna force sex as soon as possible by covering a lower branch with a bag.

Thus I was wondering how early in a plants life can i do this without hurting the plant?

Like after 3 nodes, 4 nodes?

i ran into same prob. w/ limited space. mine were about 8-12" tall when i forced em. i've read on here that u can basically do it whenever. i'm starting my new batch out directly on 12/12 and see how that works. figure it'll be less stress on em, rather than changing lighting to force em. the ones i forced are all doing fine. some of em have been outside now for over a week and seem to be doing fine getting accustomed to the longer light from the sun.
