Hey guys, a quickie here,

I recently purchased two of these fans for my little grow tent:

They haven't arrived yet, but I want to be ready with the tools needed to mount this baby on my tent. One is for intake, and the other for exhaust.

My question is:

How the hell would you put one of these on the top of a grow tent? Won't it just collapse??

p.s. is duck tape the answer? lol

Thanks guys!

depends how big ur tent is im guessing its preety small cuze that fan has low cfm,, if the fan has holes in it somewhere i would suggest bailing wire or a metal coat hanger and tie it right 2 the top bar in the tent, good luck man,

I use cargo straps over the roof bars in my tent. I dont know what tent you have, I have the secret jardin tent and it holds a six inch fan easily along with lights. I think its rated at 60+ pounds from the bars.

my tent is 3'Wx1.5'Dx5'H --> 22.5cubic feet
my fan is pulling 80cubic feet/min so i'm hoping it's good enough!?

thats not good enough to push through a carbon filter but if you just want it to exhaust air i guess its fine

I agree, with this, my jardin tents have to turn over the air 2-3 times a minute to keep cool enough. I use an air dump area to do carbon filtering.

i think my fan will turn over air ~4 times a minute according to my calculations so i'm hoping it'll be fine. I got the 250w rather than the 400w for this reason. didn't want to spend too much on cooling
