How do you make hash oil?

Is Hash oil made with butane? How do you make honey oil?
I have a lot of good bud trim and would like to try something diferant. I have made bubble hash but I don't have the bags.

i use alcohol or acetone i run my trimmings and some bud ina grinder till really fineee then get a filter whatever u have available to filter the waste from the raw oil and run it through i do it usually 2 times i find u get the least amnount of everything u dont want and it cooks out easier i usally cook it on a low heat till its nice and thick it takes a few hours use an electric hotplate so theres no flame
