How Do You Hide Detection Of Heat Lamps From Planes Flying Over?

I once read somewhere about planes flying over being able to detect heat off of lights in the house. There was mention of a covering you can buy and put up on the ceiling. It's to block detection of the heat from the lights. Do any of you have knowledge in this? Or is it not something to worry about? I tend to worry about that since I have so many lights on.

I wouldn't worry unless you have like eight 1000w lights...
The equipment they use in helicopters for inferred doesn't have that great of a resolution so if you only have 1 or 2 lights they wont be able to tell anything.

And when they do make busts off of the inferred information they gather from the air its usually from a hot exhaust vent in a barn nobody uses (kinda odvious). so if you are in that situation make sure you insulate your exhaust!

another note is that insulation helps against inferred detection.

have your exhaust coming out of a dryer duct or right back in your house for heat in the winter (with carbin filter) is what id do ,,, ex. if i chopper is flying over and they see your chimney is glowing with heat in the middle of summer and everyone elses is cold lol ,, alot of growers put it up to the attic but i wouldnt ,,, they will see larger mounts of heat excaping on your houses roof(windows, outerwalls ,siding) then the houses around you ,, one of my grow houses i use carbin filter and run the exhaust ducting into the furnace ducting ( i never pay for oil )

they cant use it against you unless they have a warrant to look in your house with it. if someone were to get into like a nighttime chase w/the police and bail the infrared from the helecopter could bust you i suppose if they were scanning for the guy and came upon your house maybe.they could charge you since if they saw outdoor plants while chasing him they would charge u and even though the cops never had permission to be in your backyard looking around in the first place, this is in the us. if u dont live in the us i have no idea what the laws are but here in americca our supreme court ruled they cant use it w/o a warrant against you

better to be safe then sorry , heat sensors are cheap and allmost every police station as one , they even come as a hand held camrea and even drive around with it ( I seen it before) and all they need is just alittle evidance(smell, snitch,ex) to get a warrent ,but if they see the heat sorce because of chasing somone else then all they need to do is get the atf involved and they will get a warrent

For most small time growers who cover their ass properly, you have nothing to worry about. It's only when stupidity and greed get into the picture that people seem to get busted. In that case, they got what they had coming right?

Just One question....ok maybe Two. Is it not legal to grow where you are and if it is why would you worry about what LEO's think? The reason I say this is a friend recently had his landlord come into his house when doing a routine inspection. He quickly spotted his grow and called the police claiming that the tenant had a major drug op going on. Task force showed up, checked his card and told the landlord that everyting was legal.
If you are using for madicinal use then I would not even worry about the law.
