How do I learn to Harvest/Trim/Cure Bud Properly?

I've been considering getting a license for a commercial grow in Washington State next time they allow applications.

I live in a good location and I have the financial means to start a decent outdoor grow. Growing the plants isn't going to be that hard, as I can learn a lot online, in books, forums etc..

But harvesting and trimming/manicuring buds for retail quality sounds like I might need hands-on experience. What would you guys recommend? I've learned the basics online but I need to learn as much as possible.

Is the harvesting/trimming/curing to retail standard difficult?

The quality of the bud determines the finished product and hand's on is about the only way..Quality bud is dense and trichome's are visible on the leaves surrounding the Cola.I remove all tissue that is not covered in Trich's and this can be done with the plant standing up or hanging..As the Bud dries on or off of the branch(another choice) it shrink's exposing the pin's that are the remnant's of fan leaves and branches.this must all be removed..It isn't as easy as the videos make it and it takes some practice..There are several thread's on drying and curing so many way's but I save every Trich, so many delicious and Couch Locking concentrates. As far as growing being simple ...Well I have two degree's and I started in the early 80's and I still find new techniques and product's that make every harvest a little better..I would crack or seed or two before you start buying Fiskar's...
