First grow. Have a scrogged White Widow that in its tenth week of flower. She’s a beauty. I’ve read to start using plain water two weeks before harvest. I’ve read to harvest when 3/4 of the trichomes are amber. I’ve read that WW needs about ten weeks in flower. Question: If the trichomes are all still milky, how do I know when to switch to plain water? I guess the real question is once they start turning amber do I still have two weeks to flush? Thanks.

Good rule of thumb when you see the first milky trichromes appearing to turn amber your about 3 weeks away from harvest.
So factor your flushing schedule around that rule of thumb you won't be far wrong.

most people harvest at 5-20% amber.

So part of timing the flush come with experience. It would be tough to nail it the first time. 75% amber I’m not even sure what that would do to u. As @JoeBlow5823 said 5-15% or so. It varies with strain. I’m growing a 100% indica I’m letting amber till about 20%. It’s my sleepy meds
