yea for a lil while, then i jus got pissed.
it says different things.
some shit says to use a paper bag...
some said to cram it all in there, some said not to cram it.
one of them said u had to leave it in there for a week at a time...
i looked it up...

i have a question about the curing...
how long do u have to cure it for? a month? a week? day?

and do i jus cut off mold or nething else if sumthing grows on them?

I just hang em up in a real dark place, darker than the back of ur eyelids. it took about a week til they were smokable, but definately got better and better as they dried. if u want to do the jar, ur supposed to hang the buds till the stem inside snaps when u bend it, then into the jars and keep openin em to get some fresh air to the buds and avoid mold

U'll notice as u smoke it, a minty flavor. Some people like this, but I prefer the taste of skunk myself. To me, this minty flavor means its not done yet, the chorophill needs to break down in the dark. U'll know for sure once u try it out. Me and a buddy just harvested an outdoor plant of his, and after 4-5 days of hanging, it was smokeable, but had a real strong minty taste to it. Needless to say, we kept smoking it anyway, and it definately got better and better the more it dried. Curing is more about flavor to me. The more the cure, the more the flavor. That said, I would'nt let em dry tilll they turn to dust when u break up a bowl.

It's pretty simple. Hang the plants upside down (no it doesn't make the thc go into the buds from the stems, it's really a matter of convenience) in a dark room with some air ventilation of some sort. Nothing fancy. In about 7 - 10 days, you will feel a big difference in them. At this point I do a final trim (I take the big fan leaves off before I hang'em) and fill mason jars about 3/4 full.

Don't pack them too tight.

Place jars in same dark room you hung the plants. You don't have to babysit them in my experience, but the first time you fill the jars, check back in about 4 hours or so. If you didn't hang them long enuf there should be condensation on the inside of the jar. At this point just take buds out and dry jar and replace.
Then you can start to check them once a day or two days, and then open and sniff. If you smell any sort of ammonia, you have either bud rot or your curing has developed mildew. Once you smell that smell, you won't forget it.

here's a tip when you are done. take two or three jars when done and pack them tight into one jar and put it in the freezer tightly covered. break it out in about 6 months or so. It will blow your mind. A year is even better, ages like a fine wine it does.

And that's it!!

Good luck!!

out.
