How close am I to harvest

Hi guys, growing pineapple express & super skunk, both eight week strains, approaching end of week eight which is this Sunday, wanted to harvest Monday. Trichomes are about 5% amber, 25% clear & 70% cloudy. Wanted to due a final water tomorrow and leave the lights off for all of Saturday & Sunday. What do you guys think?

It has a way to go. It will still plump up more. My preference is almost no new white pistils, minimal clear, mostly cloudy, 20% turning amber.

Are you counting 8 weeks from start of 12/12 or from start of buds? The strains that claim 8 week flower usually take about 10 weeks from start of 12/12 for me.

from 12/12 start. I last fertilized at the start of week five, I'm guessing its too late for one last top dress?

That plant has a ways to go. You guys need to stop going by the trichomes first. That plant is covered in white pistils and has at least a couple more weeks to go. Wait until the plant looks done before even looking at the trichomes. You're doing it backwards and using the trichomes as the primary determination. If you chop now you'll be harvesting much too early.

But hey it's your plant. You scoped the trichs and they say it's done so chop away... I'd let them go another 2 probably 3 weeks.

Patience is a virtue. 2-3 more weeks.
