How can I determine Hsrvest Readiness?

Just wait and harvest when it "looks ripe". There is sense in this approach; too much emphasis is placed on trichome colour at the expense of every other physical sign. The plant will look ready.. when it's ready. The pistils recede into the bud, the "amber" trichomes are prominent (without a magnifying glass) on bud leaf tips, and those tips may begin to curl upwards. The leaves may be yellowing and falling off. My plant is going through all of this right now, although there are still some quantities of white pistils and still some decent bud growth (about 1-2 weeks left).

Use your initiative and put off harvesting until as long as you personally feel you should.

Doomah, some of the lowest 3blade fans are yellowing and falling off, is that ok?

I was hooping to have smoke for new years, but it probably wont happen :o(

If a lot of your leaves are yellowing already then I would be concerned of a nutrient deficiency. You ought to aim to preserve as much green on the plant as possible, for as long as possible. Although eventual yellowing is normal, an excessive amount early or halfway-through flowering is concerning. If I were you I'd just keep a close eye on it and keep up the nutrients routine until 2 weeks before harvest, then flush with molasses. A lot of my leaves are yellowing off now, which I think may be a N deficiency (they stopped yellowing briefly when I cut the molasses and gave one final dose of nutrients).

With all that in mind, a few of my lowest and smaller fan leaves were yellowing off quite early too and I wasn't too concerned at that point as there weren't that many.

And you probably can have a smoke for new years if you cut off some "popcorn buds", but it'll most likely be all head-high :p.
