How big before a cutting can be taken

Hi

Can anyone tell me how big I need to let a plant grow from seedling before I can take a clone to check the sex?

I've looked in the FAQ but can't seem to find this info - I always check the FAQ 1st.

Am I missing it, can you point me to it please?
 
Wait till its atleast 12inches with good sideshoots for cuttings. once the cutting is growing on its own flower it in total dark 12/12 light cycle.

their currently about 4 inches tall and seem to be growing like hell - visibly every morning and evening. Can you give me any idea how long it would roughly take to go from 4 to 12 inches?

two weeks to grow 8in but you,ll probably need to wait till 14/16 inches before you get a good cutting to take good luck!!!!

so about 3 weeks then.

It's a long time wasted if I don't have a girl. I only put 3 in this time and only 2 sprouted after killing all 10 of the last lot I bought. So my chances are not huge.

It's a shame theres no way to tell now
