How bad is the stink and how can I get rid of it

Right now I have 4 plants, about 2 weeks old and they don't give off any oder at all. They also happen to be in a garden shed where oder is really not on issue. I am thinking about moving them inside to flower and I know oder will be an issue there. I won't have the option of inline carbon filtration and I am thinking about just filling the room full of glade plugins (grow will be in the closet). Also it helps that the room I am going to use also has the cat's litter box in it.

Any ideas?

Well I think it depends alot on the strain. Some smell more then others. With that said. My first grow I had a 4 foot plant. You could smell it all the way on the other side of the house and it was in the basement hidden behind a false wall. Now my current grow hardly smells unless you touch the plant. 4 plants I would defantly think about ways to control the smell now before they start to flower.

buy a Deionizer. or an Ionizer im not sure which it is. they are specially designed to attach to the negative ions in the air that plants give off (the stink) and neutralizes them. it makes your whole room smell like a rain storm. i have one in my basement but it does not belong to me and my friend does not even know where to get them. i had read about them but could never find one until he brought it over. says they are pretty expensive (couple hundred maybe. at least 100) but its amazing what they can do!! good luck bro

Well I just moved the grow inside and WOW there is a major difference in the smell. I was really concerned because the smell was HORRIBLE, then I realized I had dog shit on my shoes....lol. I jacked with it for a few minutes and realized that it simply can't stay inside. As sad as it is it looks like I am going to have to take my plants BACK outside.

I am thinking about activating my veg side (I had all my plants under my HPS on my flowering side). I have 2 plants that are doing really well and 2 that are like a week behind. If I flower my 2 bigger plants to figure out sex I can still have the other 2 as backups getting big and strong on the veg side. The only issue is going to be the veg side not staying warm enough. I might also try and rig up some kind of vent so that air can move from side to side but light can not.

Also the lowest outdoor temp I am looking at is mid 20s and I really don't think we will see more than 2 or 3 more of those this year. I am pretty sure that my plants can live through temps in the mid 50s if they absolutly have to so I guess we will see.

They will definitely live through temps in the 50's, but the 20's is a bit on the cold side. I don't think they like FROST! Why is it so hard to buy a carbon filter?

They just work.
