how are these blue cheese plants doing. PICS

I potted these 4 seeds abouts 6 days ago. I Have them under a 125w blue spec cfl for the moment until they get strong enough for a 400w mh. I'm not sure how big they shud be because this is my first time growing. They broke through th soil within a day and have made this progress in six days. is this slow growth or are the doing ok. Also should i put them under a 400w mh or use more cfls. any help would be great.

what brand (BF or BB?) what kind of soil? but they look fine cant really tell how fast they are gonna take off for about another week.

i would wait a week or 2 b4 adding another light.

they look good. add a little more soil in the cups when they get a little taller. in about 10 days you will want to transplant to a bigger container. i would keep them under cfl's until you transplant, then use the 400w

They are big buddha seeds. I know i shud have added more soil but its my first time so i'm still learning the ropes. The soil is called grow mix premium qaulity. I bought it from the same shop that i bought the seeds. Do you's tink i should stick to cfl for veg or switch to mh. I keep hearing difrent opinions. Whats you guys tink.

i use a mh from the start up untill the first or second week of 12/12.
you just need to keep the light a little higher above your plants than you would if they were older.
16 or so inches should be fine for now,then at around the 2-3 week mark you can have it 12 inches above yours plants with proper air circulation in your grow room.and thats if you light isnt aircooled.

Will mh cause my plants to stretch though?

dont mess with metal halides, they are really hot and cost much more to operate and cost more in general. get yourself a 4ft 4 bulb T5 for $90 on craigslist. wipe it down real good with hydrogen peroxide and it'lll serve as your clone and veg light. they are amazing lights for what you get. much better deal than MHs and CFLs combined.

check out my grow journals if you wanna see your bluecheese all grown up I grow the same strain, it is amazing bud man, very sweet smelling, super hard nuggets and so so smooth. just dont harvest early and let em cure in jar for 3 weeks and you will love that smoke. my girlfriend gets naked every time she smokes it, it's that good.

you can also switch out two of the bulbs for 2700K bulbs and it can be your clone veg and flower light all in one!

no MH wont casue them to stretch, keep it in close, grow them suckers till they are about 6-12 in. tall then put them on 12/12 since its your first go around. thats it, half dose nutes every other watering, the whole way till last 2 weeks then chop her down. GL BC is some good stuff

i agree with the T5 statement for sure though. yes blue cheese is my fav too.
