I have been growing a few or a few hundred plants here and there for decades but not until the past year or so have I had the actual chance to get REAL about it and start studying up a bit on how to grow my Cannabis Properly!
I started out wrong in a new residence...I spent a bunch of money on expensive seeds and the mice ate all of them so I had to get rid of them before I could continue!
At this point I was pretty upset because I had lost so much money to stoned mice that I decided to go with "Feminized" seeds from here on out!
Out of the pics I will be posting I have the buckets marked...If they have an "F" at the end they are Feminized...The other 4 plants are 1. a THC Bomb ordered, 2. an "Ice" plant ordered, and 2 generic seeds from my tray of personal local smoke, Those two pots have a "?" on them!
The other plants are as follows..."PKF" means Pineapple Kush, "SSHF" means Super Silver Haze, "WWF" means White Widow, "HGF" means Himilayan Gold, and "G-13" is obvious!
I am remodeling this house so I started with 3 Florescent Light 4 foot 2 bulb Balasts, and I started them in a wet paper towel and then put them in soil!
At first I don't do much other than mist them 6-8 times a day until they get 3 sets of leaves. After I top them then I want them to start getting proper nutrition because they don't get much of anything from the soil until their root system is established...I water about every 3-5 days when it comes to the soil and it varies on the size of bucket or plantere they are in!
After they get their third set of leaves I will add soil up to the bottom leaves but I like to stretch them and get them going at first instead of keeping the lights so close to the plants! This may turn out to be good or bad but time will tell. I leave the fan on and I get really strong stems by doing this and they seem to support the plant better later on!
Each light balast has a bright white bulb and an aquarium bulb in it (all bought at Wal-Mart along with everything else) and I try to alternate where the bulbs are when 2 or more are hanging over the same plants!
I just ordered Fox Farms Trio Pack for nutes but I have only used what you see in these pictures so far and they seem to be doing great! I didn't want to continue the flowering without some really good nutes though and I also ordered a ph tester with the nutes!
I started the older ones on 24 hrs of light but I have them all on 18 hours now and I will separate them when I want to "sex" or "bud" the girls!
I would appreciate any tips or cautions and or remarks anyone has regarding my growing set-up and style. I just wanna have killer personal so I don't have to buy it on the street...I have a severely messed up back, Bad nerves, and it gives me relief and keeps me off of the pain pills!
