i have had alot of trouble finding the right media and setup, started at DWC, then DTW peat/perlite now im at coco coir and dont want to spend 19$ to ship a 3$ brick.. no hydro stores locally so i found this at a pet store as it was suggested in a former thread (not brand specific) to sum it all up...
"Eco Earth is made from the husks of coconuts and can be safely composted or recycled into your potted plants or garden"
"Add on top of HydroBalls to create an ideal drainage layer for optimum plant growth, humidity and drainage in your naturalistic terrarium"

WILL THIS WORK??? lol cause i got a bag and dont wanna open it if i cant use it so i can return it

coco is coco friend, they have some that is ph correct and they have some that you have to clean and its cheaper. i dont trust there ph correct so i buy the cheap shit and wash it out.with one brick i expand it ,then put it in a bucket with holes in the bottom ,i then place a piece of chessecloth in bottom .i run about 30 gallons of regular tap water threw it,then i run 2 5 gal buckets of phed water threw it,check runoff if it is the same in as out you all good ,mix 30% perlite with it start the grow friend
