also many strains will try and seed them selves in late flower as they are ending their grow cycle.

you will not see male pods just nanners sprouting from the calyx.

Vegetation Stage: Lighting was 24/7 for 3 1/2 weeks.

Flowering Stage: Lighting was 12/12 for 1 week, then 8/16 for 5 weeks, then total darkness for 1 1/2 week. No watering the last 4 to 5 days. Total time was 7 1/2 weeks in flowering stage.

The plants were a little more than 3 feet tall (not counting the pot), but very nice and bushy. The drying process took about 2 weeks and the curing about a month.

sounds like this mad light cycle produced some random male pods.

It can happen somtimes... As the seed shell it self can always be created by the female.. but whats inside the seed is what will be missing if there is no male pollon.

So a female plant will just creat random shell seeds somtimes as its trying its hardest to reproduce. as it nears its end it realizes that its going to die soon and start to create pods anyway... its just genetics..

Edit: After reading your light cycle this is exactly why you saw seeds... the light cycle forced the plant into like this emergency mode because of how fast the light went away... remember... from spring to summer to fall... it takes time... so these plants are used to this.. and when you decline the light in such short time. it will try to kind of Hermie....thinking winter is almost here.. ( winter has short days .. less light)

Get it?
