Honestly...

Okay, honestly. I love weed and everything about it. But if it ever got legalized, I think it'd take some of the fun out of doing it. You know when you're kids and yah sneak out to the forest to do it and try not to get caught. Shit, I ran from a cop once when I was 13 cause he asked me what a was smokin and I booked. I personally believe it should be decriminalized cause some poor kid who don't know any better can get caught with his friend's pot or something and he gets a criminal record for it... Pity. But who agrees? Do you think it would take some of the fun out of smoking it? Not all the fun of course, I love being high, but anyways.

it would take the fun out of it but thats why it would help on the war on drugs and leave weed to the real stoners not just kids experimenting

i don't really like the fact that young people have to hide together in the shadows at all - it is fun to a point, but i suffer from paranoia sometimes and thinking that the cops are out there to get you can become more than an amusing glimpse of criminal life... i am afraid it may dim a persons optimistic world view.. also - there is a lot of potential for kids getting into worse trouble simply by gathering with the wrong group.. i would rather see my offspring not smoke at all rather than associating with gang members and dealers all the time...

it is innocent to a point, but here is one thing that happened to me - i was smoking in the woods when i see a local gang tough guy running my way - scary meth head guy - then i see the cops chasing him - he runs up to me on the trails and says he's going to follow me so we ran way into the woods and the cops didn't follow - i ended up sitting around with this crazy criminal all day just because we were both hiding in the bushes..

ya - that kind of fun is strictly for teenagers - i personally want to feel safe at all times and never fear arrest..

I agree with ford442, legalization would put an end to pot-related paranoia, thus leading to a perpetual paece of mind!
