is this a good light for a 2x2.
And what would be a better lf not thanks

While it’s a great product for flowering, it is not recommended for veg.

I went to the HLG website, looked at the specs, they don’t recommend it for veg.

What I understand it is good for veg up to a 3x3 and flower up to 2x2?

From the HLG Website
I own a 550 HLG Rspec, and it works fine for vegging, but the website gives veg dimensions for the 550. It does not for the 150. Your call.

I have a 6.5x6.5x7 tent with a hlg 550 rspec and two Older Bestva 285 Watt lights. I will be replacing the Bestva's as they both lost their veg circuit within a week of each other, luckily I was in flower when it happened. I only use about 75% of the tent, I need room to get in and move around. Justharvested thee about 2 weeks ago:

HLG doesn’t list anything called a patriot.

EDIT: I looked again, and the patriot does have some blue, that the rspec doesn’t, so it should work. To be sure, I’d email HLG and confirm with them, HLG has great customer service, they’ll get back to you within a couple days. I have heard that there are some “knockoff’s” floating around.
