HLG QUANTUM BOARDS led blinking

10 pcs (QB288v2 r spec single combo) + 5 mean well HLG-240H-C2100B have been bought 1 year ago in August 2019. Dimirable. Everything was ok. Used only 2 grow cycle 3mosnth +3month. 2 work well and 8 have problem below.

My problem is, when I reduce the power of the driver from 100 till 80% and less (it has a screw dimmer ), the boards led light become blinking or some led points turn off at all ( no light) or some parts areas show different light power/ strong. We cheaked all with 1 driver. So , 2 working correct. And 8 show problem. But if make power of drive 100% all led work. But normally for growing I use 60% of light. No possible use 100%.
Same problem on all 8 quantum boards.
Have any idea what is problem now ? What need to Cheak ? Anybody have same problem ever ?
Any recommendation ?
Is blinking light is provide big problem for grow ? Do you know is HLG give warranty ? IMG_20200903_155615.jpg

Blinking leds is usually the driver giving slightly too little voltage, you should talk to hlg re warranty cause the meanwells have more than one years warranty, but you might have to to go to meanwell if youre beyond one year.
 
Also, OP, the 2 boards that work well and dont blink, whats the difference between them and the rest of boards? Have you tried switching over the driver of the working boards to blinking boards?
 
HLG apparently has a good warranty. 3 years on the boards and I believe longer on the drivers. If you cannot figure it out reach out to them. Here is a web form you can fill out.

The OP has the boards wired in series.

The constant current region of this driver is 0-118 volts (according to the test report). So they theoretically could wire the driver and boards in parallel. Each board would then be receiving 1,050mA (up to 1,200mA per board according to test report) of current. The OP would only be able to get half or a little more of the drivers rated wattage if the two board setup was wired this way.

HLG has a one year warranty on boards (or board combos like the OP has).

The three year warranty is supplied with complete fixtures like the HLG 550 V2 R Spec and the HLG 650R.

Really, I stand corrected. Did not realize they had horrible warranties, sad for the prices they charge. Is that for the drivers as well?
 
Ya, kits have one year warranty, off the shelf have 3 years.
Chilled don't offer any warranty on their diy stuff.

For what its worth the driver comes in as part of the kit. So one year warranty with hlg though they sent me one across the pond when I was out of warranty for free.

Funny thing about meanwell warranty is they have to be returned to the place of purchase, a meanwell retailer, to get that 7 year warranty.
