Hinge ideas?

Only way that would work is connected to the outside.

I am trying to find something to go on the inside if possible.

Get some of those double-jointed cabinet hinges, like these:

You might have to get creative with the mount, but it should allow the door to swing open and still overlap when closed.
 
you need euro hinges if you want them on the inside, and more than just a flimsy piece of plywood. that will succumb to gravity in no time and be useless.
 
I am going to put some 1x2 on the back that will sit inside the door frame. That should give me enough meat for a euro hinge.

I am going to half the door too. I only need it fully open when adjusting the light height or doing major pruning. This should make those euro hinges work fine.

use lots of glue and pre-drill everything. and you will need a forstner bit to install those euro hinges.
