blue dream is just watered down blueberry
The OP asked for what people thought the best strains were, and skillets gave his answer. If you are going to say something bad about someone else's suggestion, why not give your recommendation as well, and tell the OP why you like that strain.
I'll give a second to Blue Dream, but I've not had straight up blueberry, so I can't comment on the differences.

Highest THC content for sativa is probably some of the original haze strains, for indica I haven't found anything stronger than herijuana yet. You're sort of chasing the wind in some respects b/c the strains that really knock you on your ass generally don't yield big. So breeders try and improve upon that aspect leaving you as the consumer with hundreds of choices.

what in the fuck??? maybe the shit you get your hands on but out here in norcal... santa cruz to be specfific is were the orignal blue dream was bred and its completely different than blueberry... blue dream is blueberry crossed with santa cruz haze. its much more sativa than plain blueberry. and iv seen really bad bluedream and really really good bluedream with 22% thc lab testing to back it up

How much yield are you talking about? Las Vegas Purple kush is way better than Blue Dream. How I know is because I have both strains as well as Abusive og, Skywalker, GDP, Platinum og, Euphoria aka herijuana, pure skunk#1, Dj Short Blue berry and Dj Short Blue berry crossed with Skywalker which no one has except for my buddy who got the Dj short seeds from me. I also forgot the Blue dream I have is from the original strain.

Personally I'm not a big fan of BD, but I agree with everything you're saying. I've only had it a few times here in Santa Cruz, and never really been blown away. I know some local growers who grow only BD and GDP. The stuff does yield like crazy, and usually tests over 20%.
Those strains may be better than BD, but the yield is typically much lower.

Not on the Las Vegas Purple kush or the Abusive OG. Here's where it doesn't matter if he grows BD or not. He's growing in soil indoors not coco not rock wool not dwc soil. I grew a BD in soil next to the Abusive and the LV in rock wool and the blue dream didn't yield for shit compared to the rock wool grown plants. I got 5 oz off the LV, 4 oz off the Abusive and only 2 oz off the BD but it was in soil. I grew the in rock wool

Don't get me wrong BD is good but it's played out and if you don't have the right BD you're screwed.

Yeah id believe that ive noticed a huge amount of Blue Dream being sold in Seattle with street vendors it seems to be a pretty popular cash crop at the moment.. if you're saying Blue comes from NorCal then it all really makes sence why its so popular where im at.

my BD is gonna yield quite a bit.. ive smoked a sample bud.. and that shit pakced wuite a punch and was very very fast hitting. 1 bowl fucked up 3 ppl. =) it is DEFF not watered down blueberry...... i really cant believe sum1 said that.... like sayin white rhino is watered down white widow... like sum1 else said.. blueberry and blue dream are completely different.. heres a few shots from my BD

Another great strain that is potent.. yields alot.. and has a great taste is white widow. got mine from nirvana.. only vegged for 3 weeks.. and flowered for 8.. using only CFL's. 360 TRUE watts.. yielded 3 1/2 ounces dry... and smells and tastes like fruity pebbles.. heres a few shots from that one

yup iv also never been a big fan of Blue dream im more of an indica, kush, or a phydelic haze type of guy haha. but its still a nice medical strain for alot of people and almost every club at least in the bay area sells it. had a nice cut of BD 2 years ago and i got rid of it because it always seemed to be the only strain in my garden that would ever get spider mites i fucking hated it. but it did start to have amazingly frosty BIG colas coming into week 6-7 mine was a 10-11 week'er

I've had good luck with Vanilla Kush grew it out twice and got about an oz dry per plant good taste but then again I vape also gets you quite stoned THC 19% or 22%.

The best all-round Sativa I've found so far was "Apple Jack" by Seedism. It finished quick (about 63 days), smelled and tasted wonderful after a good cure and the yield, while not commercial strength, was decent.
As for an Indica leaning variety, I'm partial to both Nirvana's Papaya and Bubblicious. Short stature, thick buds, sweet scent and taste and a wonderful body stone. Can't beat the price, either. In my experience, both stack up well against pricier alternatives.

beautiful grow chb. I have some blue dream going that i found one seed in a qp i picked up and this shit was sooo redic. the seed is now into flowering and the nug structure looks exactly like the finished product did. In your profile pic you have a black purp nug, i have some purple going that is straight black as well. How was quality with that purp?
As far as yield goes, in my experience, genetics plays a 65% role and growing style plays a 35% these are with perfect growing conditions. In side by side comparison of clones, lst, topping, and also root pruning create huge differences in yield and must be utilized to achieve the plants maximum yield. They love to be Fd with.

I dunno man.. I have to say its all personal opinion but this Holy Grail Kush that I sampled at 60+ days is INSANE! Its not even done, the taste, high and lasting effect is better then I have done yet. I got decent yield also, its a keeper for sure.
Also CHB I love your pics and plants but those dirt ass nails have to be cut and cleaned man. I wanna puke every time I see em brother, go to SAMS Club and get some neoprene gloves for 10 bucks man. All the bank you making on those plants should cover a few boxes. Your family and friends will thank me.
