Having the same issue, growing with a 1000w MH, and my temps are around 88 degrees, and i think that its slowing growth a little. Bump Bump.

it depends more on the surface temperature of the plants than the ambient temperature of the room.. if you have a fan blowing across the plants it will keep them cooler... so even if the room is 90 the plants surface temperature could be down in the high 70's... if air circulation is good temps can be higher with less affect on the plant... i dont really recommend having high temps unless your strain can handle it... some can handle warmer temps than others... but as i said if you keep good air movement over the plants it can keep them cool enough they arent affected near as much by the heat...

it all depens on the amount of air flow you have freash air being way beter. remember outdoors you have high heat but with lots of air flow moveing it around and not just geting hoter.good you do need to have a good exhaust also. luck

At 85 the plants (indoor) will slow down growth and start thinking about protective measure,( leaf ridges ) and at 90 it can start dieing. This is without extra co2. Those that grow with co2 have proven that they can run high temps (90) with little problems, high humidity being one if them.

i can run in the 90's and have a humof 20% w/o a dehumidafire. its all about the venting and air flow.

Well i have (2) 4" diameter in-line fans, on sucking air out and one blowing fresh are in, and a osculating fan, my temps stay at 88, but since i have fresh air all the time, you guys think everything's alright..?? Its a 10x7x8 room....

no one can really answer that but you.. are your plants growing without problems?? do they look ok?? maintaining steady growth patterns?? if you answered yes to them your temps are fine...

like has been stressed, warmer temps are fine as long as air movement and circulation are good... the ambient temperature of the room isnt the same as the surface temp of your plants... there can be a 10+ degree difference on surface of the plants with air moving as the temperature of the room.. how many cfm are your fans moving in and out?? with a room that big you would want fans that are 560cfm... that would mean every minute your grow room would replace the air in the room.. and with that much movement it can handle warmer temps no prob... but like i said the biggest judge of what your plants can handle is you.. if they are doing ok then the temps are fine... as long as your ventalation and circulation are good, which by the sounds of it your doing fine, then your plants have nothing to worry about... if you want to drop temps get a bigger exhaust fan and draw more air out...

imho you have nothing to worry about as long as temps are maintained where you have them now...

good luck
