I'm in the market for lighting I hear so many different things and it's all confusing. I currently have a Gallaxy DE Gen2 1000-watt digital ballast which I can select from 600-watt-750-watt- 825- 1000- 1150. I would like to run a 600-watt double-end bulb on this ballast I'm under the impression that as long as I have the dial set to 600 watts I should be good right? Now my ballast is rated at 10.5 amps if I can run a 600-watt bulb will my ballast still draw 10.5 amps out of my wall? Or should I just go with two 600-watt ballasts? or am I better off with 1000 watts? As I said, I hear so many different things on YouTube I spend hours and hours watching videos to only end up more confused than I already am. I know LED lights are very popular and have a huge following these days but I'm not interested in LED lighting. I know this is a newbie question that being said I am a newbie.
