hi there im a neewbie here so go gentle
the problem i am having is well i dont know if its a problem i need some advice i purchased a pack of mazari from seedsman 5 feminised they are in hydroponics with 3 blue cheese the thing is the mazari x with skunk 1#
are getting orange hairs its been flowering for 5 weeks 2 days the buds are big what i need to know is this a sign that its ready or is it meant to go like that

Location: indoor; Type: mostly indica; Flowering: ~60 days; Only female seeds.

Solid, short, consistent indica strain. This is a great genetic combination sold by several seed companies due to its high quality. Afghan strains are renowned resin producers and the Skunk #1 helps to increase the potential yields (which it undoubtedly does). This strain can produce some impressive yields. It grows in a short christmas-tree like maner with good side-branching and is good in a SoG set up. It produces highly resinous buds characteristic of its Northern Afghani heritage, which taste like good smooth hashish.

some land race afghans go six weeks. but, the norm is 8-12 for nearly all hybrids.

Go the full 8-9 weeks, they will swell up and become ripe.

You will be sorry if you harvest early

One thing to remember is that in the last couple of weeks the buds can nearly double in size. Ofcourse that depends on the strain.

I also suggest that you start flushing and be prepared to harvest in a couple of weeks. A good idea is to pick up a $12 scope (if available in your area) from radioshack. It will help you to determine the maturity of the trichomes and allow you to harvest when you reach the desired level.

still not sure i anm going to push them as long as possible im just amazed they ready so quick if they are ready i dont no its starting at the bottom and getting higher the orange hairs i know that red ones mean but im still unsure about this strain and there is little if any content on the internet about this theres plenty for mazar-i-sharife but this is a cross and theres no good evidence on what my plants should look like at this stage of growth the hairs are starting on all my marari its weird can i have more help plz comment thanks in advance

get yourself a scope take a look at the trichomes if look milky or are an amber color harvest, how long ago did they start budding?

atarted budding about 5 weeks ago
they were normal at first then went huge i was delighted thinking i had 3/4 weeks left the main cola is still pure white with hairs but starting go orange i cant understand it

nowhere near ready. 4-6 more weeks to go.

Go to radio shack and buy a cheap ass Pocket scope, so you can be sure. Looks like some Sativa, I would wait 2 weeks. No I would run down to Radio Shack and buy a pocket scope. LOL.

looked through a scope i already have my friend said there very healthy but they are nearly ready he said hydro takes a week 2 a week and a half off the total time i have cut all buds and leaves off left the colla for a couple more days to go red im not sure yet but think from previsly seeing yeilds i got about neary 2 oz dry off this plant smells foul a very lot of crystals mostly deep in the bud not the stickyist but im growing in hydro il post a smoke report when its been cured only thing is i couldnt fluch it coz its in with other plants that need the nutes
