never water everyday, that will kill the plant as sure as herbacides.
Make sure the pot drains well to, you want the roots to have a chance to breathe now and then.
Essentially the rest is pretty accurate, just keep in mind outdoors you're putting mother nature in charge which means it's just going to grow the way it's going to grow you won't be able to control flower times or anything like that... chances are if it gets good light and lives it will be fully vegging through most of the summer.

Yes you can.

Make sure the pot you use is big enough to hold a gallon of dirt for every foot of hieght she willgrow outdoors untill harvest. & be very careful of bugs. Bugs are evil. Check your plant everydhay. If you want to enhance the potency if your buds or increase rate of growth then go ahead & consider using nutrients so she can feed on. Don't over water either let the dirt go dry in between watering. Too wet dirt can suffocate tour plants roots.

what happens when it rains?
When your getting a lot of rain you will want to obviously water less. Now it will all depend on how much rain v.s how much you water. You will need practice to get a feel for it. Just remember over water is bad= fungus and all sorts of probs. I forgot. Are you in buckets? or are you in the ground? if you are in buckets they sell water meters.you just stick it in the soil and it tells you how moist it is. i just dont know if the work in the ground too well. i hope this helps
