I have 4 washing machines in week 8 flower, Anyway, tric's are rdy and plant looks like it still wants to grow, lower buds are showing not rdy by looks, didn't check tric's on lower buds, just on tops. got a 3 day weekend coming next week, thinking if I see much more of the brown tric's, I'm chopping, at least top half of it. Also all the plants looks great, healthy, not one dead leaf on any. My question is Do I cut a plant that is clearly still growing, but tric's show rdy?
Most of my grows, the plant had dying leaves toward the end, these are healthy as hell. I never checked tric's until 3 days ago, was going by looks, and looks told me at least a week maybe 2. So I thought it was time to flush. Pulled out first one and decide to check tric's, suprised about 10 percent amber 90% cloudy. I like my tric's cloudy with little to no amber. Flushed 3 right away. If your wondering why just 3. During my grows I try different thing to see if there is any difference in taste, thickness and growth. I use fox farm soil, Happy frog during veg, ocean forest for flowering, Use very little nutes, soil alone is hot and feeds it the first 3 weeks. I put these in pots and 5 gal buckets with room to add soil on top after initial 3 weeks of soil feeding. The last few have been very little food to 1 grow with nothing but soil added to tops of bucket.
This grow seemed like it needed a boost. my light is getting old too. So I did add some big bloom, and calcium. I forgot to mention I use our koi pond water, every other water. Use distilled every other too. Another thing is, I'm suppose to get purple buds at the end of this and I see no purple on anything,,,lol

Washing machines?

Without pics it's gonna be hard to tell.
By still wanting to grow do you mean swell or perhaps you are seeing fox tailing?

lol, it's from ripper seeds. go to seedsman to find it.
What I mean about still trying to grow is, it's not showing signs of dying,,,lol. no dead or discolored leaves, hairs are white and reaching for the sky. I call them hairs, just my thing. They usually turn amber toward the end. Got pics, my phone acting up or pc acting up wont transfer.

The buds are not going to purple up unless they lack a nutrient due to lockout, absence or low temperature (same as a lockout in soil)

#1: Some strains don't amber up much. Some at all!
#2: Same for pistils, Some strains just keep right on throwing them. Several "depends" on this. Shaded buds will longer. High intensity lighted areas will longer - like almost too much/to close lighting..
#3: You ain't gunna like this but, FLUSHING is a MYTH! You only remove things from the soil. NOT from the plant. That's impossible by the actual biology of the plant. This is a well meaning myth, thought to improve taste and burn.....That's crap on a cracker.... Learn to cure properly and you'll bet what you want out of the taste and burn.
With that in mind, stop any booster at week 6 and drop the N and K a tick and raise the P a tick. This will do more for bulking and finishing your plants then any flush or fade!

Swollen calyx's, the pistil's receded into them and all cloudy trich's will be a way to judge non ambering strains....
