Wierd ass looking shit... is this a damn hermie???

Only the nodes in the middle have these.. the lower or top dont have them..





Pulled it out.. and opened it.. and found a SMALL ass hair in there.. in each lil pod...

anyone??? plz tell me so i can make a brownie out of this..

unfortunately, i think you are right my friend.

wierd that they are only on the lateral branches. and not the top or bottom of the plant.

you could try removing the male pods and keep an eye on things, or, you can remove it now to ensure that no other plants are pollenated.

personally, i would do the latter - not one for risking my whole grow quality.

I wonder why it hermied.... could it be because i was using this plants hole in the lid to fill nutes all the time and stuff? i would always lift it and expose the roots to light and air.. all the time when i switched water from the res.

i really can't see that being the problem mate, so don't blame yourself - shit happens.

what are your temp and humidity levels?
was it a feminised seed?
did you interupt dark cycle at all when tending to system/plants?
is your grow room 100% light proof?

This plant was actually a bag seed and really weak i could tell... grow tall, and buds were weak compared to the others...

My grow room is 100% light proof. humidity and temp is always stable. i never go in the grow room in dark cycle..

Im sure its either that strain from the bagseed was fucked up... orrr because since i didnt care much for this plant,.. i moved it out of its res so many times.... to add nutes in the tank and to add more water.. im sure this stressed it out from all the root movement...


The rest of my seeds are bought from a seed bank

more than likely this was a genetic problem.

as more and more breeding happens this will become worse.

lots of Fem seeds do this

yeah thats what i was thinking... i mean the bud that i smoked had this seed... and from what my friend tells me he said it was grown with a fem seed...

just thought i would ask mate, to make sure you had everything covered - but you are obviously pretty experienced.

perhaps you are right - and it got pissed off with being moved so much, but generally ganja plants can take a fair amount of abuse without too much of an effect.

did the best thing by chopping it anyway, laters and good luck with rest of grow.

hey thanks a lot man! when it comes to plant life i would say im pretty knowledgeable.

Only reason i cut it down was the thing you said in the first post... not worth ruining the whole crop... i was going to pick em off... but not worth it.. as soon as i read it i ran in there cut the roots and yanked it out..
