help!!

heyguys well ive had my first little problem. i am growing 10 ww under 400 mh came home today and 2 of them were fallen over and some of the stems are purple in color but my thermo says it is 74 degrees F in there???? i proped them up with twist ties and put the fan blowing on them on low.... will they come back?? my 400 is about 30 inches away from tops. i am only in the first week after germ and they are about 3 inches tall.... the rest look strong but i am concerned about the color on the stem??? any help would be great!

I think a 400 W a wee bit strong. My WW germ and stay under cfl tubes for 10-12 days b-4 moving to 400. Usually have 3 sets of leaves by then. Purple stems and stems to leaves r normal. No issues there. Watch for soil drying out if in soil. Hope they come back for u. I keep my lite 18" above plants.

What beeker said, too much light for seedlings.

ok so i when i got home the soil was a wee bt dry, watered them and hr later they came right back to life. you think too much light?? the other 8 seem to be doin great ithink i will stick with the 400 and see what happens i plan to start half strenght fox farm nutes in about 2-3 weeks wish me luck
