1000w hortilux sodiums are going to give you the best yeild, switching to led would be a downgrade yet more cost effective, but also greater startup cost. If you only have 8 plants I'd go for at least 7, 10, or even 15 gallon pots.

Thanks ..I'll take your word for it !! I was thinking about 20 gallons Also what do you think about the scrog
Personally I veg my plants for a medium ammount of time, not long enough to utilize 20gal. pots. But I do use scrog. The net I use is a type of dynamic setup, I lay the net on top of 3x3 plants gently or taped to the stakes. Then I work the folliage under that. That way I can always take the net off, move them around etc. w/o having a solid frame in the way. Scrog is an excellant way to go for bushiness, Some people use 2x layers. I only top 1 time when they are small.

Cool also inwanna make the buds dense as possible I heard co2 will do the job
You heard exactly correct my friend. Keep in mind when using co2, you always want to be within the VPD curve. take a google on that.
They will also use a little bit more nutrients, it's worth knowing to be able to account for when they need it.
Compost tea will help you alot. Namely with the ingredients worm castings, molasses, kelp, azomite, alfalfa. Each can help alot I can go into detail on how if you are wondering. If you are using co2 you are dialing in the finer details so there's 1 tip.

I don't agree LED is a step down at all but its not going to be cheap.

You would want to avoid most lights on amazon, an LED that will replace a 1000w hps will set you back $1000-$1800 to fully light your 4x8.
Depends how you go about it. Most of use build our own or use kits so we can do it for less.
It will shave off 40% of your electricity, maybe slightly more.

You have to ask yourself if that investment is worth it for you.

If your having heat issues and dont already use quality air cooled hoods then that would be the first thing to do.

Yeah I'm just goin wait till next grow for the lights but I was wondering would 3 600 watts cover more area than the 2 1000s. Ik it sounds like a dumb question lol

This is a very common compost tea recipe you can find nearly the exact one all around give or take a few additives but mostly the same. Can cite sources if needed.
The worm castings act as a buffer to hold extra nutrients, its also full of beneficial Mycorizae that help nutrient uptake and build a better root system.
The molasses is sugars and carbohydrates that feed the Mycos and also the plant.
Kelp contains some N and alot of K and also alot of micronutrients and vitamains and other good stuff. Promotes root growth mostly and avoid deficiencies.
Azomite contains trace elements and Amino acids. I also use a Soul Synthetics Amino Acids in my feedings. Amino Acids help alot, bigger buds, overall growth, thicker stems.
Alfalfa Meal, when broken down by microorgranisms produces a natural plant growth hormone found in alot of products, Check massive bloom, Advanced Nirvana line etc, they contain Triacantonol or Alfalfa Meal which is a natural PGR. Alot of people don't talk about that one but it's widely used. Produce way more growth and bigger buds. Subcools super soil got me hip to it.
Look into it and see what you find, giving away all my secrets here

That's what I used to run in my old 4x8, I did it because it was cheaper to buy 600s than 1000s and started with two then added a third, its easier to use two 1000w if your aircooling and get a better coverage than to try fit 3 600s in good hoods.

So what nutes should I be using veg/bloom and I saw compost tea on amazon...I'm I was 5th week in flower and I'm not seeing much in nugs what boosters should I add or is it too late..sorry for all the questions

Got any pics? I would say it's not too late to use nutes or co2, but deff. don't do much foliar sprays in flower.
What nutrient line are you using currently?

General hydroponics
Honestly not too familiar with gh line since I don't use it. I use Ionic, in bloom it has bloom+PK boost. I think GH has FloraBloom and KoolBloom or something like that, are you using those? I'd just check the feeding schedule recommended by manufacturer.
