Whats going on everybody!
sitting here smokin on a

and was looking on the site for info but i keep coming across a thousand different answers that aren't really answering mine. so heres my 1st question i planted my auto flowering seed 11 days ago its on its 2nd set of leaves when should i start throwing some fox farm nutes in it? ( by the way im using fox farm ocean forest soil). 2nd question.... how will i know when its in flowering ? im a rookie and this is my 1st grow so i just want to make sure everything goes right. 3rd question if this is the 11th day would it be considered the 11th day of vegging?
Help please some one guide me in the right direction!!!!
Question 1 - you can add nutes in now, just slow. little plants need little water and little nutrients. fresh soil provides some nutrients but i always like to add in stuff too. some pics help me tell you what to add but chances are Nitrogen will be your best friend for the next month or 2. veg nutes are heavy in nitrogen, and those are hte ones ya want for now.
question 2- autoflower is something ive never done, but id imagine its somewhat the same as every other pot plant. first it grows, then it sexes (ie: puberty), and you'll see the pistils (2 white hairs) or balls (no sack, just balls). from that point on, the plant is ready to flower and the pistils/balls multiply until you have nugs, or a pollen factory (which you do NOT want).
question 3- um... i consider day 1 the day the plant sticks outa the soil, but thats just me, and i do that cuz i clone and use seeds and it helps me keep track of plant growth over time. you can consider it that day, or the day ya stuck the seeds in the ground. doesnt really matter. time isnt a big deal.
the only thing you gotta worry about really is the lighting, the nutrients and the air flow. let the plant worry about the rest. with non-autoflowering plants, they will double in size from veg height to flower height when ya switch the lighting rom 18/6 to 12/12, but im not sure on autoflower plants. get some pics, and start a journal. take notes. its good to write what you fed, and when. when ya bought the light bulbs (so you know the lifespan), and when ya got the soil. its good to know yield so you know which strains are better then others. a journal is a great way to do this the first couple of times. now im using a program called Herb IQ, that i found on here, and its pretty good. either way, give it time, check it often, and take pics.
