Help with seedlings

meh, look fine, it'll straighten itself out. Sometimes the interior seedcoat sticks and I'll pull it off with some tweezers gently but I don't see anything on yours.

First of all Welcome to RIU. Hopefully you'll be here for awhile, learn share and contribute to this Great Site.

As for your babies they look okay give them a few days, what ever you do don't over water at this stage. I am sure in a day or two they'll pop up and start there thing.

Thanks bro, does the color matter? Like although they are stuck together they look kind of yellow right now. I’ll try snap a pic of it when I get back home

The Yellowing is from to much water. Just lay off the water for a bit, Just remember not to dry, Just moist will work. I only have them watered a bit heavy before they pop them I reduce until they get their first set of leaves then I do the lift method. I'll try and get back here and look today sometime hopefully I can, it's been busy for me this month.

So update you were right patience is key. While we are still here I have a question about watering. I read other posts but it seems inconsistent from post to post. So these are auto’s and I planted them in their final pots (3gallon) from the get go and I know if I fully water they will die. I read a cup of water around the edge of the plant and a cup directly on the plant. Here is some pics of how they look currently.

With seedlings I always just spray them with a mister for the first couple of days, then after a couple of days I water in a circle around the plant, not too close, say a couple of inches away first time. Only a dribble of water, probably only 1/3 of a cup. Over a few waterings make the ring larger and slowly increase the water used - you want to make the roots search for water. If you water the plant directly they won't need to go looking.
As you already know, don't over water - you can always add a bit more if they look dry, it is impossible to take water away if they are soaking.

Just going by the pic, that soil looks a bit heavy. It also appears to be large pot. Prime set up for overwatering. Be very mindful of how much water, and how often you water when its time. I go 3-4 days in between waterings and I start my seeds in solo cups with promix. I start off with 1/8 cup when theyve first sprouted.And like INO , I also mist when they very first pop up thru the soil.
One of the biggest mistakes new growers make is overwatering. And its a bitch to correct, a lot of times transplanting is the only fix. And since you're already in what appears to be a large pot, a larger pot might not be possible. I have a heavy watering hand so I've had to do my share of transplanting.
A useful tip another member gave me a few years back was, its easier to save a thirsty plant rather than one thats been overwatered. Good luck:peace:

It’s FFOF, also like I mentioned I read it’s not a good idea to transplant Autos. That they flower so fast they can’t afford the shock in their growth without taking a hit on yield. I was told best option was to start them out in their final containers (3gal).

I'm not familiar with autos, but yes I've heard the same. Just water lightly and you'll be good to go. Seedlings in larger pots can be a bit tricky

Here’s another update.. They are about 2 weeks old now just wanted to get some feedback not sure if they are suppose to be this short at this age. Also was wondering if the roots are developed enough at this point for a full watering with run off, as I mentioned before these are auto’s and were planted in their final containers. I’ve been watering lightly as you guys advised for seedlings in large containers but feel like they may be able to handle a full watering soon.

Relax man you're over thinking things! (Kiss, keep it simple stoner) Those look great for 2 weeks. Some strains are just short in stature! I understand you're new and we were all there so take this advice. Relax and dont over think or over love them! Also, you want to water .25Lfor ever 1 gallon of pot size in the vegetative state, this is a general consensus. Some plants want more water but a general rule of thumb I have practiced over the years is .25L of water for every gallon of pot. Stick your monkey finger till the first knuckle. If you're media is dry then water. At this stage depending on temp and rh you should only need to water every 2 to 4 days. Let them dry out a bit and then water. Doing so will also keep fungus gnats away while also exposing roots to much needed oxygen.

Well isn't that an Improvement ? Good job ! Keep up the great work and things will happen in your favor. Over watering does nothing but cause problems. They are doing fine just keep doing what your doing and thing will be fine.

like I said before there are plenty of great folks out here that give awesome info, and if someone give the wrong info, But someone usually corrects them and then either they learn or argue but it usually comes out okay.

Great work Keep it up. I have to say I love that saying,

Keep it Simple Stoner. KISS I like the ingenuity much better than the other...

Thank you guys for the help everything has been going well but now I am stumped on a feeding question. I found a reference on the forum for how to feed auto flowers, they state for week 4 (PreFlowers) give 1/2 veg nutes and for week 5 (first flowers) give 1/4 bloom nutes. Mine are 4 weeks old but idk if u would consider these preflowers or first flowers because based on the pics I’ve seen these look more developed than preflowers. Essentially I’m trying to figure out if I should just go straight to the bloom notes instead of the veg nutes, thanks again guys.

I'd be going with bloom nutrient feeding at the point you're at. I've never grown auto before, but you're into the flower cycle now.
