help with ppm ec and ph

hi iam gettin evrything readdy for my next grow wich is gonna b a bubbleponics system the last time i grew was in soil and was moderately successful. how every this timw im goin bigger. 600w hps 6 pot bubble system. but now all i need to know is what the bloody hell to do with the nutes. firstly which nutes should i used or what ratios should i look for in my nutes. secondly how the f***ing hell do i do with all this ppm ec and what ever else nonsens. i no i need a meter to measure them but do i need three different ones? and with the nutes how do i calculte the ppm and what should it be.
thanks to any one that can help this is the last of the setup questions that i have. if you can think of any thing that i have left out that i may need to no then please help.

You definitely will need 2 meters - a pH meter and a ppm meter. Ppm is just the parts per million of total disolved solids in you solution. EC is another method of determining the total disolved solids - some meters will give you both EC and ppm. As far as nutes go I use GH Flora Series - I start with a very low ppm (100) and increase it every ressy change until I max out at around 800. Some people will go as high as 1400 ppm but I don't see the need.
