Paint your walls.
^^^what he said^^^

Take it from a guy with mild to mid level ocd, leave mylar alone, it will steal your sanity, j/k.
For what its worth, it depends on the size of the area whether its cheaper to paint or mylar, both will give you what you are looking for.

so my question about the pictures I posted still haven't been answered haha I was asking if the material that I have posted in pictures would work for mylar not if I should paint my walls or use mylar I guess you to didn't accually read the op haha any way guys what do you think of this material? would it work as mylar?? its no problem hanging mylar for me so I don't need to hear about the negatives of such wall covering I just want to know if the pictured sheeting ( it comes in a roll) would work as - similar to mylar :) thanks guys

That looks like radiant barrier. If that's the stuff they sell at home depot then it is what I used in my room. Some spray glue and some patients or help. I had a box (roll 4'x250' for less than $70) laying around, and after doing my room (6'x10'x9') I still have plenty left.

That is radiant barrier, my bad, at first glance, all I saw was shiney..lol. It will work (albeit not as well), but seems to me it might be more expensive than plain 2 mil mylar. 4'x50' roll for $25 shipped. The negatives from me were a reference to a joke, because I can't handle wrinkles in my mylar...lol and I have it everywhere.

Mylar eats donkey dick. Only kids use Mylar. I have a couple sheets of orca film and that stuff fucking rocks!! It does however look and feel like house wrap. In my area house wrap is pink though.

Give it a shot, it can't hurt.

Btw, I would hang panda before painting.

Do yourself a favor and ditch the mylar. Get the orca, or I use the sunleaves ultraflect sheeting. The ultraflect is super strong and has diamond pattern to diffuse the light. you cant even tear the stuff.
