Help with lighting, what are best?

What are the best lights, only growing like 7-10 plants. I have heard a lot about flouros and cfls but are mh and hps better? or t5? Please help, and how many watts would you suggest? Thank you in advance. + rep to alllll!!!


EDIT: I am using a closet so I can add fans, room is not too bad, like seven ft high and maybe 5 ft wide and 4 ft long. just looking to generate really strong bud

The sun is best, everything else is very situationally Dependant and varies with application. HID are tried and true for many years. Those on budgets, small area's, or with heat issues tend to really like fluorescents (CFL's, T5, etc). LED's are expensive (and a lot of BS out there trying to tell you the cheap ones will perform better than they do), but have some benefits. They are kinda like taking the good from both fluorescents and HID and doing away with most of the bad (assuming you have the funds to setup properly). Without more info I would go for as many watts as you can fit. A more details description would need info on the number of plants, size, size of grow area, ventilation, etc.
