Help with Grow Area

I am starting a new grow and I would like to know some things. First I just rigged a PC fan to work with a wall socket and it works right. I know I need more than one fan so I'm going to rigg up a couple more. Also I'm germinating seeds right now and I need to know how many CFLs and what wattage I should use with 2 seedlings when they sprout and I put them in the soil. Right now I only have lamps for 2 bulbs. Think 2 100W bulbs should work? Thanks in advance for the help!! Will post pictures later!!

Dude, stop what you are doing NOW!!! Trust me, I am finishing up my first CFL/Soil grow and used 3-23w(100watt equivalent) CFLs and a 9w. Not only do you yield waaay less, but maturity takes longer. I had zero cash when I started and did the best I could(check her out on my profile) if you can afford to spend 85$ get a compact HID light... 150watt HPS/MH light has 16,000 lumens!!! That will only cover 3x3x3 at the most though... You will get way more bud and a healthier plant. Get some good nutes also, Foxfarm Trio Pack is reasonable, but take it from me, CFL's aren't bad they just aren't efficient as a HID. I did a SHITLOAD of research. You can get stronger CFLs but they add up to the cost of an HID damn near!!! Happy growing... Also if you can't get the HID immediately you can start veggin with CFLS then switch to HID.

He is right. I ran a cfl setup first time I grew and man plants dont grow with dense buds like hps. You can even get a 400w hps for 160 and just use HPS for flower and veg. Will be a lot better then cfl setup.

IDK where to get a lamp or thing to hold that bulb because I was looking at a 175W HID but IDk what I need to put the bulb in because I can't use a normal lamp.

Its called a mogul socket for HID lighting. 4kV rating for 400W or less or a 5kV rating for 1000W or less.

Dude, take this link, http://www.bghydro.com/BGH/itemdesc.asp?ic=HLCSHPS015SS&eq=&Tp= this is the cheapest HID I found, these all-in-ones are best for noobs and people that grow small quantity of plants. 150watt HPS will cover 3x3 grow space.
