help will a window ac blow out co2 in a sealed room??

can a run a window ac for grow room without worrying bout losing co2, all my aircooled lights are on a closed circut if i put a window ac in room and keep it on when lights are on will co2 go away i have a infared co2 controller does the room have to have a vent to discard air or can keep it sealed and just run a window ac im so confused please help

window ac units are 98% recirculating types, meaning they suck in room air cool and blow it back in the room. You will loose some through joints in the machine, and the gaps between the machine and the wall/window. But as far as sucking out your co2 and blowing it into the great yonder, not so much. Portable ac units however 50% of them will suck out your co2.

I had the same question as well. I see so many varying views on this subject, just want to get a definite answer. I worry about smell passing through the A/C as well.

If you're running fairly high concentrations of co2 (near the 1,500 ppm level) you shouldn't really need A/C! High levels of co2 allow the ambiant temperature to be around 90 degrees f. (or better). More co2 allows more heat!
