have plenty of air going to the roots and the roots look healthy
temp and humidity is good and distance from light is good.

this is the second time ive had this issue and normally starts around week 6/7

i cut the nutes down this am by removing 30% and adding plain ro water.

help please!

What's your PPM?s

Vi

this is according to technoflora website

Veg formula 1 gets 800ppm = 1.6EC = 16cf = 1600uS
Veg formula 2 gets 1300ppm = 2.6EC = 26cf = 2600uS
Flowering formula 1 gets 1575ppm = 3.15EC = 31.5cf = 3150uS
Flowering formula 2 gets 1700ppm = 3.4EC = 34cf = 3400uS
Flowing formula 3 gets 1900ppm = 3.8EC = 38cf = 3800uS

im about 1000ppm right now after adding some straight ro water. i was right around the 1900 point. im in the last week to 10 days before flush.

ive read some that dwc you can run lean but i was trying to follow their formula exactly. i do notice that the ppm increases 100-200ppm every 24hours, plants drinking a bit of water and not using all the nutrients. i top off with ro water and it brings it down.

I'm no expert but.................. 27 years of grow might say something!
Looking at this picture tells me that your water is full of hard minerals.

Looking at the dimples in the leafs, and the dryness and spotting of the leafs tells me your water maybe full of hard minerals making it harder for the roots to take in nutes.

I also have to say that (not that I can see this in the pic) That your growing in soil. If this is the case and your already in the budding cycle (which you are), Flush the soil with Ph balanced water.

But before doing that add a Tap Water Conditioner to the water (found at fish stores) Then balance your Ph.

I would flush for 1 week before adding nutes again if growing in soil, otherwise flush for 3 days!

You said: this is the second time ive had this issue and normally starts around week 6/7

Please check for hard mineral build up, since this occurs around 6-7 weeks.

Depending on your nutes Ph can range from 6.2-7.0 to be in what I have heard "The Safe Zone". The nutes I use need the Ph to be in the range of 6.2-6.3 Ph. More on the acid side of the Ph scale. Some beleive it should be in the alkaline side of the chart. But each to his own ways.

Take a look for hard mineral build up, It is common and looks like white/yellowish crusty like build up. There are chems. that will flush hard minerals out of your grow medium allowing the roots to take up nutes.

1900.. yikes..

You really ned to keep a very close eye on your plants and know them very well....before you start going over 1300PPMs...

Keeping notes about your grows and PPM levels is KEY!

cheers

:)
