Hi RIU. I need immediate advice/help. One of my plant's top cola is starting to die (see pics). As you can see from the plant, only the top is dying at the moment. Can someone please tell me what may have caused this? This morning humidity was high and the dead part looked soggy. If you need more info, the plant is grown in a greenhouse. Average day temp inside greenhouse is 88-95. Humidity during the day is 20-50 and at night is 85-99. I also have oscillating fans running most of the time blowing air toward the plants. If anyone can help this newbie out I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Bud worms? They can be very little to start off, and usually the damage from little guys looks similar.Lack of light will cause that also as mentioned above but outdoor usually only happens down low or in the middle of thicker plants. Id look for some worms dude.

Thank you guys. Could it really be bud worms? The bud receives enough light inside the greenhouse daily IMO. Do you think the high humidity with constant air blowing toward the plant could have something to do with it?

It could possibly be bud rot with that high of humidity at night, but I would think if you ran a fan on them 24/7 this wouldn't be issue.

Since you have that high humidity at night, saying the part that was dead was soggy, and from what I can see in the pictures. I'm saying my best guess is bud rot.

It looks like the beginning of bud rot to me as well. It can move incredibly fast, you should consider removing all infected areas immediately.

While those buds look too small for rot.. I concur..

Yikes.. cut em off and try and salvage.. but take lot's more advice from others till you take mine..

Sorry, that just fuckin hurts.. I am sick for you.. sorry again.. MAKE SURE YOU BLEACH out your grow area before next time.. that shit will attach it's self to new plants and wait for the suckiest times to come alive..

thanks for all the responses guys. 333maxwell, i didn't notice this until yesterday. Is it possible the rot is caused by the fan blowing humid air toward the it? Humidity was horrible last couple nights @ 95-99 and there was no way to control it.
