exactly what you said is correct, (99% sure), as i don't grow hydro, but the rockwool is your starting medium then you put it in the net pots or whatnot and the roots will grow out into the pebbles.

(1) Soak rockwool cubes in solution of water and Nitrozyme at a rate of 20ml per 10 liters.

(2) Drain off excess water from rockwool cubes.

(3) Place small hole in the middle of the rockwool cube with match. Make the depth of the hole about twice the depth of the seed you intend to germinate.

(4) Place seed into this hole in the rockwool that you have made and gently brush across rockwool so seed is completely covered.

(5) Now place these cubes with seeds in a tray on top of a heat pad. Keep the temperature between 24*C and 27*C for optimum germination. Some strains may prefer it warmer, but this is the temperature for the majority of strains. Place a clear cover over the tray so you are creating a humidity tent. This retains much needed moisture.

(6) At least once a day, check the moisture of the rockwool cubes. If they need more, apply pure water with a spray bottle. Keep the cubes damp, but not drenched.

(7) When you see the plant just penetrate the surface of the rockwool gently remove the seed shell from the recently germinated embryo.

I would recommed using the paper towel method to germinate seeds, this way you know exactly whats going on

then stick them into the rock wool . Presoak the rockwool in ph 5.5 water to ph adjust them, if using grodan this should be done for 30 mins other brands may take longer. Then you want to make a hole in the top of the rockwool that goes down about half way. Then Carefully place the seed into the rockwool with the little white taproot going in first, then cover over the hole with a little bit of rockwool. Then I would place this into a heated propagator to get it started with whichever bulb your using for seedlings.

then let the root grow into my pebles and the water?
once the seedling starts to lift up the little bit of rockwool you covered the hole with you can remove the rockwool cover completely. as soon as there is growth above and you can see the coyteldon leaves showing you could put it into your hydro system

and theres a tube that the water comes out of, that should be directly on the root wen it comes out of the rock wool?
I would put the tube on the top of the rockwool so the water comes out into the hole you created with the stem, so that all of the roots get watered.

the kits from www.stealthhydropincs.com let me know. watch the video they have and let me know, thanx
could have built that for $50
hope this helps
