I was out looking at my plants today and the biggest one and noticed about 4-5 of these little red things running around the soil and on the leaves are these spider mites, i looked at the others and they didn't have them the big one had 1-2 hiding in the soil underneath im going to transfer to 5gal or ground in 2-3 days do i need to push that forward and get them out of there or are these harmless little guys, i check my plants 2-3 times a day and give them lots of TLC so i notice every little new detail and have never seen these on them
bugs were very tiny and from what i could tell had either 6-8 legs
thanks thanks in advance

I doubt it's mites, unless you have super vision . . . mites can be difficult to see even when you know what you're looking for. Mites also pretty much stick to leaf bottoms and stem junctions.

^^^^^^what he said, the mites are very small....if you see small dots under leaf that you can brush off....they're mites...For bugs in the top soil in pot I'd remove as much as possible. You could try neem oil also.
