Hey guys, so I have one plant that I've had issues with from the start and it is severely stunted in growth in comparison to the rest. This one hasn't grow at all in a while, I'm finally starting to see some new shoots coming from where I FIMMed.
Anyways I'm wondering what is causing the odd discoloration found on this plant, is it a magnesium deficiency? I wonder if this could be it due to the fact that I am also experiencing some purpling of the leaf stems. Root growth is extremely slow and has essentially been non existent. All that has developed is branching of the roots it already had, no new roots. I had an infestation of root rot on this plant and am wondering if this could have caused the issues? I just added some tea last night so hopefully it helps but the slime had appeared to essentially been eradicated before hand using h2O2 (only used this before i had the means to make heisenbergs tea)
The first 3 pictures are of one plant and the last 3 are of another.
First plant has had the most issues while the second has just been transplanted to dwc~ 1 week ago and was looking fine until yesterday when it began to show deficiencies (yellowing spots on leaves along with brown/dark colored leaf tips, also if you look closely at the leaf I'm holding in the picture there is a brown spot developing)
I'm using DWC buckets, temps range from low to high 70s while night hits mid 60s.
Rh is low at about 30%. Ph from 5.5-6.3 on all my plants so that shouldn't be an issue.
Side note I've got a third plant that the oldest, heaviest leaves have drooped after adding the tea last night. Could this be an adverse reaction? This plant is also showing purple on leaf stems now though so could it also be caused by a mag def?? Thank you to anyone who could provide input!!!
