The top of my plant lost all it's leaves or dried up but it still had decent size Buds but they feel like there drying up should I harvest or just let it finish when it was supposed to I caught the problem before my bottom half of plant died it's doing better it's on day 40-flowering

You're a little screwed no matter what you do. Take what you learned to your next attempt and make it better.

A LITTLE screwed, but not completely. You can still get something smokeable outta that. Just keep trying and learning as you grow. You say you caught the problem? What do you think was happening here??

My air hose disconnected to the pump for about four days roots were getting bad

it is a good thing it happened at such a late stage start your flush no sense to try to heal what's almost at its end cycle. lesson learned try again.
