When using organics, ph levels aren't something we are too concerned with. It is my understanding that the microbes living in the soil actually eat the organic ferts and make them available to the plant to use. This can occur in whatever the ph level may happen to be. You must however keep in mind the health of the living "micro hurd" in the soil and not expose them to any chemicals or clorinated water because it will kill them and ruin the plant. You have to be careful not to overfeed, organic ferts can burn and bat guano can be pretty hot stuff.

I don't know much about ppm. I think it is used to measure liquid chemical nutes in hydroponic growing. To me the most worry free (maybe lazy) form of organic growing is organic nutes. I use Alaskan Fish Fertilizer 5-1-1 and liquid seaweed during veg. I use Neptunes Harvest Fish Fertilizer 2-4-1 during flowering. They work well for me and I don't have to worry about burning the hell out of my plants and the smell and flavor is good after harvest. I have made mistakes with chemical nutes, autoflowering plants and feminized seeds. Great success can be had with simple methods (organic) and superior genetics (TGA). I hope this helps. Good Luck!
