So I’ve had these spots for about a week now. They are spreading and seem to be mostly on the top growth not the very new growth but the upper big fan leaves, and some smaller fan leaves. There is a few bottom leaves with it aswell but not many. Before everyone says I have spider mites I don’t. At least I’m 99.9% sure I don’t. I’ve looked at every leaf for hours upon days and I’ve used a microscope to inspect nearly every leaf bottom of leaf and top there is not a single bug. I thought maybe thrips because I’ve heard they are hard to find sometimes but I have scoured this plant over and over with a microscope and my eyes and I have not seen anything not a single bug. Could thrips be this hard to find while so many spots are present ? My only other thought is calcium deficiency. Anyone seen something like this before from a deficiency that isn’t pests. Please don’t say spider mites I already know it looks just like it but I just don’t see how it can be that when the spots are on a lot of the leaves and yet I can’t find a single mite or web after looking for hours and hours.
