Help me work out the bugs in my closet!

For the most part I am running a rather rank-a-dank setup cause im new, I've done grows before, But this is the first time I have took the time to post here.

I just added 200 watt cfl lights at the top (While moving around my current lighting) 120 wats on the left side 60 watts on the right side (Bonsai tree isnt important.)= 400 watts eq? I have positioned the lights temporarily until I get better ideas on how to run them.

I run a cool mist humidfier 24/7, With a bathroom exhaust fan built into the wall that runs 15 mins on and 15 mins off to cycle the air, which has worked well. I just transpanted it 4 days ago and moved it out of its small box and into the closet, Removed its support today to let it stand on its own and strengthen back up and let bottom part of the stem fatten up.

Lights run 18/6 8 days off of flowering (Test Grow)

Soil- Miracle Grow
Nutrients-Dyna grow

Temps runs 73 degrees and at 47% humidity

The plant is currently 3 weeks old 10" 5 Nodes( see pictures )

What would you guys do to the closet? I am open to any criticism just keep it nice :).

I have HIGH respect for everyone who takes a moment to put in there two sense please follow the thread and see where it goes!

Hey man. First of all I would move the lights closer. A LOT closer. Those are 400 watts equivalent. it's a marketing thing for converting old tungsten bulbs light output to the CFLs. What it means really is that those lamps put up the equivalent of 400 watt worth of tungsten bulbs. Which is not nearly enough because a lot of that power goes into heat with those. Look into getting an HID
She looks great for 3 weeks apart from the lighting issue keep up the good work :D

Where do u live could u not just put outside I think u would gain a larger yield if outside then that indoor setup no offence but that's like not much light

Its way to cold out, I'll move the lights closer and add more lights tomorrow and get out the shadow areas that was the original idea, My plans are to upgrade to a hps eventually but this grow will be cfl, Yield isnt as important to me I am smoking green weed, but my tolerance is so high that the reg doesnt work well anymore this will be a nice treat if i can even get to yield :P

@grape 100% agree, in the past i had bad growing conditions when I did it, Mess ups are experience I have taken you're advice and have already implemented it :). Thank you so much!

ill post updated lighting pictures 2morrow when more is added.

Looks good so far, I'm not a cfl grower but maybe some more bulbs and some type of homemade reflectors to focus the light better to where you want it might help
What strain is it?

Its some strain of afgan unsure of specific but got it off my uncle who knows a guy that he gets his stuff from, and judging by the leaves and growth speed its atleast 70% indica? Tho he won't let me directly talk with him to protect his dealer of course I don't have anyone other to get tips from because by the time my questions get back to me its been murmured by time. Thank you for posting 2004play I think you are exactly right I will add them tomorrow!

I have one for ya....a tray under it to catch runoff instead of a towel. Also known as a plant saucer. Make sure to empty it or if your lazy prop the plant up so the runoff isnt reabsorbed and causes nutrient buildup in the root zone and ultimately lockout from high ppm and nute burn. Your carpet and landlord will thank you.

Plant seems happy with the 6 inch going to lower them to 4" today and run from there. Leaves pointing up twords the lights and not vertical I would take this as an idication she is happy.

Thanks for your intrest 2004play upgraded my lights and she is growing much faster now in the leaves not the stem ty grape on the advice on moving the lights down futher, I feel like I understand lighting alot better now. I just switched her into flowering today switch my 6500k bulbs to 2700k bulbs today except 2 100 wat 6500ks (eq). Now running 7 100 watt (EQ) cfls (23 actual wattage?) With mixed spectrum. Sorry about being all over the place smoked alot 5 mins before writting this will edit later. Will post pictures on the 18th unless I run into issues and need some pro help.

Also killed some of the cool humidifier run times because after water and higher temps 75-78 there was already enough natural humidity pushing my humidity levels a little bit higher then I would like that dropped the levels ( especially when we are getting ready to see if I can get decent flowers this time.)

Thanks everyone for there help and educating me even further.

Switched to budding on the 8th got preflowers it looks like within 2 days which is crazy to me, However after hitting its growth spurt, looks like the leaves got big enough to start catching to much wind just 2 of the bigger leaves it didnt discolor or anything its still green but the leaves are kind of bent left to right 35* im assuming it was just to much wind, Moved plant further away from exhaust and Re-adjusted humidifier to get less air blow, Hopefully the leaves will turn back up because they arent damaged. Also got my first smell of her today mmmmmm...

Now looking and seeing i made a mistake along the lines of paying attention to the wind patterns on the leaves so whoops. (learn from mistakes)

Get an oscillating fan and u wont have to worry about it. Plants like the wind they just cant handle it constantly blowing directly at them. The more airflow u get across the leaves the better.
