help me out with some venting questions.

so i recently bought a 4x4 tent and a 600w cool tubed hps.

my question is will a 4" inline fan be enough to cool the bulb and the tent, and give me proper ventilation.
i know a 6" would probably be better, but i already have a 4" and i dont wana go and buy a new fan if i dont have to.

question number 2.
i found a 4" inline fan with carbon scrubber on craigsist for 30 bucks.
should i just ger taht 4" and use that to cool the light, while i use the other one to cool the tent?

i cant make up my mind on what to do, so i came to all of you "experts" for help?

let me know what you guys think, or what you would do if you were in the same situation as me.

always best to have seperate systems when dealing with light cooling and environment control.

do you think 2 4" fans will be good enough though?

or would i need something stronger?

More is always better in regards to ventilation..,you should br good, just add a cpl smaller ocillating fans inside tent! Good luck!

I'd set everything up with the two 4 inch fans ad turn on the light close the tent and see what happens then you'll know and can start your grow or buy bigger fans.Happy growing and may all of your harvests be plentiful.

yeah i have 2 clip on fans at opposite corners of the tent moving the air around, they help a little bit.

and cool, ill probably just get the other 4" fan for now.

i cant really check the temp of the tent though, the room the tent is in is at 98* and i dont have a ac. so i guess all i can do for now is wait for the weather to cool down before i can start growing in there
